Space is the last frontier, and we currently know very little about it. We need to start investing in space travel so that we can advance as a nation. Such an investment could lead to colonization of nearby planets, numerous technological advancements, and a possible discovery of life.

I believe improving the environment with new and improved technologies like solar panels, wind farms, more efficient cars, and geothermal homes and buildings can help improve the environment. As well, because less fuel will be needed, the United States will not need to import as much fuel from foreign countries, improving our national independence.

We are currently facing the problem of losing our resources. For one instance we need to have fuel to run our cars and machinery. Second we need coal for our energy resources, rather than use coal and fuel we should use hydrogen or solar energy. Hydrogen is the one of the most abundant elements in the universe. Solar power is always going to be an extremely powerful resource. Solar energy can charge our houses and run our water heaters. We must use renewable resources rather than fossil fuels, to help preserve our environment.

As children, we may take some stuff for granted. You know - the air we breathe, the words we speak, and the food we eat. But is that really the right path to follow as adults? "To fall into a habit of laziness is to fall into dependance." – Shanghai philosopher Consider why America is in an economic depression right now. It is no recent trend, but one that has been apparent since the turn of the century.

America, as well as the whole world, is in great danger regarding global warming. The streets are filled with garbage and automobiles have been letting out too much smog which affects our outer zone layer. It is not only affecting earth but it is also affecting all the living organisms on our earth. Such as: humans, animals andthings like trees and plants.

I recently visited a museum hosting a Body Works displaying real human bodies. It was fascinating! Looking at the inside of the human body, seeing how things are put together, work together, and die together was enlightening! The display on the development of a human was incredible. Seeing from embryo to baby right before you eyes and not from a textbook was riveting. Yet there was so much controversy surrounding this exhibit. People thought it was wrong that these fetuses were on display. Why? If this not a learning process? How else could we understand the importance of human development. People donate their bodies to science so we can have a deeper understanding of ourselves. It is important - this also goes hand and hand with stem cell research. There is nothing wrong with this type of research. If we don't allow it - we might never find cures for paralysis or who knows cancer!
